About the event
The Chart of Accounts is one of the most important components to address during an ERP implementation. A new system often requires structural changes, but it also presents an opportunity to resolve long-standing issues related to reporting, data consistency, and overall financial data management.
What is less clear is when this work should happen and how much effort it actually requires.
In many ERP projects, finance teams are provided with a recommended account structure and a crosswalk. However, the work extends beyond mapping. It requires decisions about reporting outputs and drill downs, alignment across connected systems, and consideration of PSAB and provincial reporting requirements.
This preliminary phase is what we refer to as ERP Financial Data Preparation phase.
In this webinar, we will walk through what this phase involves, how to scope it as its own project, and how to approach it whether your implementation is upcoming or already underway.
