Program Overview
The Municipal 360 Chart of Accounts Standardization Program (BC) is an 8-week initiative designed to help BC municipalities modernize and streamline their chart of accounts (COA).
While COA issues are frequently flagged in audits, budgeting, and reporting processes, municipalities often lack the time and resources to fully redesign their structure. As a result, legacy COA designs continue to slow down processes, introduce reporting errors, and consume valuable staff time.
This program provides a practical solution: a proven, standardized COA framework aligned with PSAS, financial statements, and LGDE reporting categories—yet flexible enough to meet each municipality’s unique requirements. Whether you're preparing for a software upgrade, cleaning up a general ledger, or improving reporting and automation, this program walks you through the full COA redesign and validation process with clarity and support.
